What's That Smell? Bring Your Brand to Its Senses 🌸

A recent article from Creative Review explores how aroma is becoming the newest sensation in sensory branding. That's right folks, branding isn’t just about visuals, it’s a full-on sensory experience, and I’m here for it!


Sensory Branding is a marketing approach that engages customers through sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell.


Sensory is often thought of in the context of Autism, but the truth is, it's a human experience. Sight, sound, touch, taste, and scent all shape how we feel, remember, and connect.


When used with intention, sensory branding enhances environments in ways that are inclusive, engaging, and meaningful for clients, customers, and even our beloved emotional support pets.



They don’t call it "Aroma Therapy" for nothing.

As a self-confessed Perfume Connoisseur who's bathroom resembles Sephora's fragrance department, my cre8tive environment isn't complete without life-assisting scents.


Aromatherapy is integral to my daily rituals. I layer fragrances to cre8te moods, and I use calming diffused aromas daily at home to help all of us feel centered and calm.



Naturally, this got my cre8tive wheels spinning...


What would the brands I cre8te for smell like?

Cue my husband’s eye roll! Scent-sational branding isn’t for everyone…

My handsome Other Half calls fragrance "pretentious", but the truth is, he’s allergic to practically everything that smells good. As someone with year-round allergies, he says scent marketing sounds like a personal attack. He's NOT alone.
