Rock, Paper, Sistas was one of those rare projects that felt like a creative exhale. Set against the backdrop of the beach and the ocean, this coastal retail shop invited fun, playfulness, and experimentation—not as a bonus, but as a requirement. Art for the sake of art was always part of the brief, and that freedom made this project especially meaningful.

I’ve always been deeply inspired by retail brands because they allow me to design from the perspective of the ideal customer. I get to step fully into the experience—how a space feels, how products are discovered, and how a brand makes you want to linger just a little longer. With Rock, Paper, Sistas, that meant cre8ting a visual identity that felt joyful, approachable, and rooted in the simple pleasure of beautiful things by the sea.

Although the shop has since closed, this project remains a favorite because it represents what’s possible when trust, creativity, and heart lead the way. It was a true collabor8tion—one where the people, the place, and the process mattered just as much as the final result.
